A review of definite and indefinite articles, now that you understand nouns and adjectives: Things to remember: An article is a word that comes before a noun and means either the, a(n), or some. Indefinite articles mean a(n) or some and definite articles mean the. They ALWAYS agree in number and gender with the noun. In the practice exercise, please provide the correct form of the definite and the indefinite article, based on number and gender. If you do not know the gender, search it in a dictionary.
