To form the present tense of regular AR verbs, drop the AR and add the following endings to the root:

O
AS
A

AMOS
ÁIS
AN

A regular AR verb conjugated correctly should look similar to this:
hablo
hablas
habla

hablamos
habláis
hablan

In the exercise that follows, read the sentence and conjugate the verb according to the subject. Hint: If you are having trouble finding the subject, look for a subject pronoun (yo, tú, etc.) and remember that for statements, Spanish syntax usually places the subject right in front of the verb.
