Check out this log jam, which was a cool place to play for my #3 son when we used to hang out there in our days living in Michigan's upper peninsula. This river dumps out into Lake Superior in the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and is about 3 miles from the nearest road. I can give you directions if you want to see it for yourself!
